The Journey Begins

The doors open to our warehouse and processing facility in Kelowna, British Columbia. With one forklift, one shear and two Ford F550s our team members hit the road purchasing catalytic converters, scrap non- ferrous and scrap industrial and automotive batteries. Our business to business brokering operations also begin as we move full containers/trailers of non-ferrous and batteries throughout Canada and the United States.

Trade Accelerated Program Completed

In 2019 Larush Business Solutions successfully completed the Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) hosted by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. The program was designed specifically to equip business with the tools necessary for conducting international trade. Through seminars, workshops, strategic consulting and networking the program is an invaluable resource to help understand the complexities of international business.

As a company that conducts business in several different countries, each with their own unique cultures, legislation and business practices it is important for Larush to understand the nuances of different world markets. The education received through the TAP program has greatly helped mitigate the risk of miscommunication and also helps to predict expected outcomes when dealing internationally.

This program was crucial for any company poised for online market entry and international market development. For a company like Larush who is looking to establish an online presence in foreign markets this program was responsible for helping to shape our e-marketing strategy as well as develop our scrap metal purchasing app that is currently in development.
